Local NHS jobs at risk

Recent news that the Country Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust are considering making up to 350 staff redundant has been described by Jenny Chapman MP as "grim".

The plans being considered which put the jobs at risk,

with union representatives being clear that the Government's cuts to NHS funding are to blame.

Responding to the news, Jenny said: "The DarloMums recently marched to London because of what is happening to our health service. When you lose 350 NHS jobs it will have an impact on patient care and services to patients, however you dress it up."
