Macmillan coffee morning

On Friday, Jenny and her office arranged a Macmillan coffee morning to raise money for the amazing work Macmillan do to provide support to those suffering with cancer.

The event, which was co-hosted with County Durham and Darlington Police and Crime Commissioner Ron Hogg, was hosted at the Baptist Tabernacle community centre in Darlington. More than 30 local residents turned up to the coffee morning, raising £181 for the support charity.

Jenny said: "it is lovely to see people rallying around for such a great cause, and once more proving the good will of the residents of Darlington".

Macmillan coffee mornings were being held across the town, in schools, churches, and by local businesses.
