Jenny visits St Aiden's Academy

Jenny Chapman MP yesterday met staff and students on a visit to St. Aidan's Academy.

Jenny was given a tour of the school by Acting Headteacher Nicole Gibbon, and had the chance to meet pupils across all five year groups in their lessons. At lunchtime, Jenny ate lunch with the students in the canteen, and was able to ask them about school life and growing up in Darlington as a young person.

Speaking of her time there, Jenny said, 'It was fantastic to have an opportunity to visit St. Aidan's. There is definitely an air of change in the school, and it was great to be able to chat to students about their school life, and to meet the dedicated staff who work so hard'.
