Jenny meets Darlington MYP

On Friday Jenny met with Darlington's Member of the Youth Parliament, Jess Halliday and her Deputy Mille.

During the meeting Jess, Mille and Jenny discussed a range of international, national and local issues - everything from Brexit to the 2016 US election and issues facing young people in the town. Jess and Mille also outlined their manifesto's for the year ahead and what they hope to achieve.

Jess hopes to focus her attention on ending the stigma surrounding mental health and working to ensure that schools provide the right access to services for students. She will also look to help boost work experience placements and student bus ticket prices.
