Jenny joined local community campaigners for a special Christmas carol

Jenny joined local community campaigners who are fighting to save local hospital services for a Christmas carol.

Up to 70 people join campaigners for a special Darlington rendition of 'O Little Town of Bethlehem' over the weekend. Young and old alike came together to protest against the downgrading of local A&E, maternity and ITU services at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

Jenny spent the morning talking to concerned residents in Cockerton, before part-taking in a spot of singing to raise further awareness.

Jenny said:

It is fantastic to see so many people come out and support this local campaign to save vital health services in our town.

Jenny will be joining SOS Darlington on a tour of the town to talk to constituents who have questions or worries regarding the local STP plan to downgrade services.
